![]() A good strategy for grinding this one is to leave the power up where it falls (it will stay there until used) and waiting for the arena to fill up with a few waves before using it. Light 'Em Up! is completed by defeating 50 enemies with the Super Bolt, which is a blue power up dropped by drones in the Survival arenas. The first two challenges will require some grinding. The most noteworthy challenges are Light 'Em Up!, Top of the Class, Sting Like a Bee and Champion (found in Beta and Gamma Survival). You will complete most of these challenges naturally and as such it is best to wait until you have completed both the story and scoring 500,000 points in each arena before you focus solely on completing challenges. 60 Global challenges (which can be completed anywhere), 3 which must be done in Free Roam, 5 in Alpha Rescue, 5 in Alpha Survival, 10 in Beta Survival, 5 in Beta Rescue and 8 in Gamma Survival. There are 96 total challenges in the game. Note: some of these will likely be earned before this step. You should also have all of the miscellaneous trophies at this point, but if you're missing any now is the time to get them. Continue upgrading skills as you go and after completing all challenges you will be able to purchase the final upgrade. Keep in mind that there are 60 Global Challenges, but also another 36 tied to Free Roam and Challenge Arenas as well. You can check your Challenge progress at anytime by pressing Options, then using / to get to the Challenges page and use the right stick to scroll through the list. You'll likely still need to work towards a total of 10 million points across all arenas runs and defeating 50 enemies with the Super Bolt. You will have most of the challenges completed after earning the Diamond trophies and now is the time to wrap up the stragglers. ![]() Don't worry about completing challenges during this step as the vast majority will come naturally. The Delsin Arenas are not required and not recommended for high score or 30 Wave runs as they are much tougher to complete. Focus on reaching 500,000 points in each, keeping in mind that you need to beat Wave 30 on both Beta and Gamma Survival (don't suicide after reaching the point goal or you'll need to do another run). Play through the five required challenge arenas, Alpha Rescue and Survival, Beta Survival and Rescue and Gamma Survival. After maxing out Light Speed you may like to save up for the Homing Missiles, as when they are maxed out they can make the Arenas much easier Continue upgrading abilities as you earn points. Finally, shoot down the Police Drones to wrap up the collectibles. ![]() The maxed out ability will help you greatly in collecting the Lumens. I recommend completing the races and Graffiti first and using those Skill Points to fully upgrade your Light Speed ability. The extra Skill Points earned will help you on your way through the Arenas. If you did not pick up the collectibles during Step One, now is the time to do so. You may choose to pick up the collectibles during this step as you gain access to them to help upgrade Fetch more quickly. Upgrade Fetch's abilities as you earn Skill Points to make combat even easier. Since there are no difficulty related trophies you can play on Easy for a quicker run. Play through and enjoy the story, netting the four hidden trophies. Challenges make a return and while most will come naturally some may require a bit of grinding.Īll in all, for the price tag, First Light brings a lot to the plate and should leave fans of the series happy. Also, making their first appearance in an inFAMOUS game is a series of challenge arenas, which depending on your skill, and possibly luck, may double the length of the game. The most notable for trophy hunters is that unlike Festival of Blood, First Light has a Platinum trophy. ![]() The game delivers a brief but enjoyable story following Fetch's life before being caught by the DUP and adds a few new twists. InFAMOUS returns with a stand alone DLC to Second Son in the same vein as Festival of Blood.
